Echo Of The Wild

Echo Of The Wild grew out of the idea that some stories are older than language. The two hares stand beneath a full moon, mirrored in posture and purpose, as though they are taking part in a ritual that has been repeated for generations. Whether they are dancing, greeting one another, or renewing a promise is left deliberately open.

I have always liked hares for the sense of folklore they carry with them, and this painting leans fully into that feeling. There is a quiet mystery here, balanced with a sense of companionship and connection, as if the moon itself is listening in on a conversation that began long before we arrived.
