Sunburst Mojito belongs firmly in the camp of people who arrive at a party ten minutes late and somehow become the centre of attention anyway. There's a playful confidence to her, balanced by a slightly knowing expression that suggests she's seen it all before.

I loved the combination of oversized sunglasses and an unapologetically extravagant floral crown. The painting leans into the glamour and theatre of fashion portraiture, but with a sense of humour tucked underneath. It's bright, bold and a little bit larger than life, which is often where the most interesting characters seem to live.
